Sixty (60) accredited semester units 2-1/2% <br /> or their quarter hour equivalents <br /> <br /> B.S. or B.A. Degree 5% <br /> <br /> One hundred twenty semester (120) 5% <br /> units or their quarter hour equivalents <br /> <br /> Advanced POST Certificate - The 5% <br /> Advanced POST Certificate must be <br /> accompanied with 120 approved semester <br /> units or their quarter hour equivalents <br /> to be eligible for incentive pay <br /> <br /> M.S. or M.A. Degree 5% <br /> <br /> NOTE: The above educational levels are not cumulative. <br /> The maximum educational incentive pay received by a <br /> single employee shall not exceed 5%; nor shall an <br /> employee receive incentive pay for more than one <br /> educational level at the 2-1/2% rate nor more than one <br /> educational level at the 5% rate. <br /> <br />16.6 Documentation of Educational Achievement <br /> <br /> A. Evidence of successful completion of a degree or <br /> certificate shall consist of either of the <br /> following: <br /> <br /> 1. Diploma or certificate indicating the major <br /> field of study. <br /> 2. Letter from the college registrar certifying <br /> award of the degree or certificate and the <br /> major field of study. <br /> <br /> B. Evidence of completion of the required accredited <br /> semester units Or quarter hour equivalents may <br /> consist of any of the following: <br /> <br /> 1. College transcript of grades. <br /> 2. Official grade slips from each of the courses. <br /> 3. Letter from the college registrar certifying <br /> the completion of each course with a grade of <br /> "C" or better. <br /> <br />16.7 Termination of Educational Incentive Pay <br /> <br /> Educational Incentive Pay shall be terminated at such <br /> time as the employee receiving educational incentive pay <br /> is promoted to or otherwise placed in a position <br /> requiring the educational level which he currently <br /> possesses or a higher educational level. <br /> <br />16.8 Tuition Reimbursement <br /> <br />Memorandum of Understanding <br />Page 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
