FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br />This First Amendment to Agreement is entered into this ~ day of ~.~~ 2007 <br />by the City of Pleasanton ("City") and Bartel Associates, LLC "Consultant" <br />( ) <br />Whereas, on July 1, 2006, the City of Pleasanton and Bartel Associates, LLC <br />entered into a Professional Services Agreement for GASB 45 -Other Post Employment <br />Benefits (OPEB) Actuarial Study and related services; and <br />Whereas, the compensation for services rendered needs to be amended; and <br />Whereas, the parties desire to amend to the Agreement; <br />Now, therefore, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Section 5 of the Agreement, "Compensation" is amended to: <br />the compensation is increased by $10,000 to complete the study and to <br />perform additional consulting in support of GASB 45 for a new total <br />compensation not to exceed $29,000 unless the parties agree pursuant to <br />section 8 of the original agreement. <br />2.
