Resolution No. 86-85 <br />Page Two <br /> <br /> mitigation by another public agency having jurisdiction, <br /> or (3) cannot be mitigated except by mitigation measures <br /> or alternatives found to be infeasible given economic <br /> social, environmental, and other considerations. The <br /> facts and findings supporting these findings are <br /> summarized in the Environmental Impact Findings, Exhibit <br /> "A", which can be reviewed at the Planning Department, <br /> 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California and as are <br /> more fully found in the administrative record of this <br /> project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this City Council finds that although all significant <br /> environmental effects have been reduced to a level of <br /> insignificance, the remaining, unavoidable significant <br /> environmental effects are acceptable because the <br /> project's economic, social, environmental, and other <br /> benefits outweigh any impacts which may occur; said <br /> benefits are summarized in the Environmental Impact <br /> Findings; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make changes to the Land <br /> Use, Circulation and Growth Management Elements of the <br /> General Plan at this time as one of the four. times <br /> during the calendar year such changes may be made; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Amends the Growth Management Element of the General <br /> Plan to clarify that the jobs to be created in Hacienda <br /> Business Park Phase II are consistent with the "balance <br /> among land uses" implied in the various growth <br /> management rules and policies; said clarification to be <br /> as shown in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Amends the Land Use Element of the General Plan to <br /> change the designation from "General and Limited <br /> Industrial" to "Industrial, Commercial, and Office" for <br /> the approximately 260 acre area, located generally in <br /> the area bounded by Interstate 680 on the north, <br /> Tassajara Creek on the east, and railroad tracks of the <br /> Southern Pacific Transportation Company and Hacienda <br /> Business Park on the south, and Chabot Drive on the west <br /> as shown on Exhibit "C", attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
