Exhibit A SCOPE OF SERVICES SUBTASK 1A: SITE SELECTION AND PREDESIGN This subtask will result in completion of the predesign analysis and report for the Sycamore Water Reservoir and Transmission Lines. The work to be done and estimated cost is as detailed below: o Surveying: The survey work done by the City and any available aerial photo work will be utilized by CH2M HILL to complete site survey work. Es- timated fee: $5,000.00 o Site Investigation: The survey and site work will be completed and coordinated with other activities to complete analysis of the site including view corridors, drainage, tank location, overflow and drainage route etc. Estimated Fee: $5,000.00 o Geotechnical and Soils: This work may include soil borings and geotechnical analysis of the site to determine seismic stability and acceptable res- ervoir locations. Estimated Fee: $5,000.00 o Right-of-Way and Easement: When the general site has been identified and size parameters defined, the specific easement requirements for the road, site, and transmission lines will be determined so the City may obtain needed easements. Estimated Fee: $5,000.00 o Plat Preparation: All of the above detailed fac- tors will be incorporated into the necessary plats for the site: Estimated fee: $2,500.00 o Site Procurement: This work will assist the City in site procurement activities and may include assistance as needed for environmental documenta- tion. Estimated fee: $2,500.00 o Utilities Coordination: Following site selection, this work will coordinate with existing ntilities in the area both to expedite construction and pro- vide service to the site.
