18.08.072 <br />18.08.072 Block: <br />"Block" means the properties abutting <br />on one side of a street and lying between <br />the two (2) nearest intersecting or inter- <br />cepting streets, or nearest intersecting or <br />intercepting street and railroad right of <br />way, unsubdivided land, watercourse, or <br />city boundary. (Ord. 1880, 2003; Prior <br />Code § 2-5.17(d)) <br />18.08.075 Bio Diesel: <br />"Bio diesel" means a fuel processed <br />from soybean oil, other vegetable oil, <br />and/or recycled cooking oil. (Ord. 1880, <br />2003) <br />18.08.077 Brew Pub: <br />"Brew pub" means a business that brews <br />and sells beer for on site consumption. An- <br />cillary retail sales are also permitted. A <br />brew pub may be operated separately or in <br />conjunction with a restaurant. (Ord. 1880, <br />2003; Ord. 1665 § 1, 1995) <br />18.08.080 Brewery And Distillery: <br />"Brewery and distillery" means a busi- <br />ness taking up ten thousand (10,000) <br />square feet or more in floor area that brews <br />beer and/or distills spirits for wholesale <br />sales. No on site consumption of beer <br />and/or spirits is permitted except as part of <br />quality testing and/or tours. Ancillary retail <br />sales are also permitted. (Ord. 1665 § 1, <br />1995) <br />18.08.090 Business Sign: <br />"Business sign" means a sign devoted to <br />directing attention to a business, profes- <br />sion, commodity or service that is the pri- <br />mary business, profession, commodity, or <br />service sold, manufactured, conducted or <br />offered on the site on which the sign is lo- <br />cated. (Prior Code § 2-5.18(a)) <br />18.08.095 Car Wash: <br />A. "Car wash, full service" means a <br />place where motor vehicles are manually <br />vacuumed and cleaned, drawn by mechani- <br />cal conveyor through an enclosed building <br />tunnel to be manually and/or automatically <br />washed, dried and/or waxed, and taken to a <br />final area for finishing. All such operations <br />are performed by the car wash operator. <br />Incidental services may include special <br />wax, polish and detail operations, sales of <br />gasoline and other motor fuels, sales of <br />small gift items, and personal services to <br />waiting car wash customers. <br />B. "Car wash, self-service" means a <br />place where motor vehicles are manually <br />vacuumed, cleaned, washed and/or waxed <br />by the vehicle operator. <br />C. "Car wash, drive-through" means a <br />place where motor vehicles are driven by <br />the vehicle operator through a fully en- <br />closed building tunnel to be automatically <br />washed, dried and/or waxed. Drive-through <br />car washes are typically operated in con- <br />junction with a service station or self- <br />service car wash. (Ord. 1494 § 1, 1991) <br />18.08.085 Building: <br />"Building" means any structure having a <br />roof supported by columns or walls, for the <br />housing or enclosure of persons, animals, <br />chattels or property of any kind.
