18.08.030 <br />18.08.030 Amateur Radio Facility: <br />"Amateur radio facility" means antennas <br />and related equipment for the purpose of <br />self-training, intercommunication, or tech- <br />nical investigations carried out by an ama- <br />teur radio operator who is interested in ra- <br />dio technique solely for personal interests <br />and without pecuniary interest, who holds <br />a written authorization from the federal <br />communications commission to operate an <br />amateur radio facility. (Ord. 1743, 1998) <br />18.08.035 Antenna: <br />"Antenna" means any system of poles, <br />panels, rods, or similar devices used for the <br />transmission and reception of radio fre- <br />quency signals. (Ord. 1743, 1998) <br />18.08.040 Antenna, Facade Mounted: <br />"Antenna, facade mounted" means an <br />antenna that is directly attached or affixed <br />to any facade of a building. (Ord. 1743, <br />1998) <br />18.08.045 Antenna, Ground <br />Mounted: <br />"Antenna, ground mounted" means an <br />antenna with its support structure placed <br />directly on the ground. (Ord. 1743, 1998) <br />18.08.050 Antenna, Roof Mounted: <br />"Antenna, roof mounted" means an an- <br />tenna generally freestanding, directly at- <br />tached or affixed to the roof of an existing <br />building or structure other than a personal <br />wireless service facility tower. (Ord. 1743, <br />1998) <br />18.08.055 Bar: <br />"Bar" means any premises in which al- <br />coholic beverages are regularly offered for <br />sale and on site consumption. A restaurant <br />which sells alcoholic beverages after ten <br />o'clock (10:00) P.M. shall be classified as <br />a bar for purposes of this zoning code. <br />(Ord. 1743, 1998; Ord. 1665 § 1, 1995; <br />Ord. 1346 § 1, 1987) <br />18.08.060 Small Bed And Breakfast: <br />"Small bed and breakfast" means a resi- <br />dential building offering overnight ac- <br />commodations to guests on a temporary <br />basis. A small bed and breakfast may serve <br />meals to guests and shall contain between <br />three (3) and five (5) guest sleeping rooms, <br />inclusive. (Ord. 1636 § 2, 1994) <br />18.08.065 Bed And Breakfast Inn: <br />"Bed and breakfast inn" means a resi- <br />dential building or buildings offering over- <br />night accommodations to guests on a tem- <br />porary basis. A bed and breakfast inn may <br />serve meals to guests and shall contain be- <br />tween six (6) and fifteen (15) guest sleep- <br />ing rooms, inclusive. (Ord. 1636 § 2, 1994) <br />18.08.068 Birthing Center: <br />"Birthing center" means a health facil- <br />ity, place, or institution which is not a hos- <br />pital or in a hospital and where births are <br />planned to occur away from the mother's <br />usual residence following normal, uncom- <br />plicated pregnancy. (Ord. 1810, 2000) <br />18.08.070 Best Available Control <br />Technology: <br />"Best available control technology" <br />means commercially available equipment, <br />processes, and actions to reduce air pollu- <br />tion to the greatest extent possible.
