Any redesign of any portion of the project <br />necessitated by changes in concept or by changes in scope or <br />criteria, after receiving final CITY approval for that portion <br />of the project and design of facilities for which plans and <br />specifications-are not subsequently authorized by the CITY <br />will be considered as Extra Work. Compensation for items of <br />Extra Work will be based upon time and material charge rates. <br /> <br /> 6. Determination of Fee and Work to be INcluded in <br /> <br /> ENGINEER'S FEE "A": THE TOTAL MAXIMUM FEE FOR <br /> <br />ENGINEER'S FEE "A" FOR ENGINEER'S REPORTS AND ASSESSMENT <br />spreads and respreads shall be one percent (1%) of the final <br />project cost, including the estimated cost of work assessed <br />and not constructed and including Extra Work which may be <br />ordered by the CITY which involves the professional services <br />of CONSULTING ENGINEER. <br /> <br />Work will be performed on a time and materials basis not to <br />exceed maximum Engineer's Fee "A" as set forth herein and <br />shall include the following: <br /> <br /> a. Obtaining property owners' names and addresses. <br /> <br /> b. Preparation of an Assessment District boundary map <br /> and assessment diagram. <br /> <br /> <br />
