Planning <br />5. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 1972 approving PUD-81-28-05M, <br />allowing asix-foot masonry wall along a portion of the westerly property line between <br />Pleasanton Station and Hap's Restaurant located at 30 W. Neal Street <br />6. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br />Public Works <br />7. Adopted Resolution No. 08-177 approving the Altamont Settlement Agreement Education <br />Advisory Board Expenditure Plan for Fiscal Year 2008-2009 <br />8. Approved retention of the bond from Ponderosa Homes for intersection improvements at <br />Bernal Avenue and First Street/Sunol Boulevard <br />9. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a consultant agreement with Fehr & <br />Peers Transportation Consultants in the amount of $100,000 to provide planning and <br />engineering services for preparation of the Pleasanton Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan <br />10. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a consultant agreement with Biggs <br />Cardosa Associates in the amount of $149,700 to provide engineering and construction <br />support services for the Bernal Avenue Bridge at Arroyo Del Valle, CIP #995067 <br />Councilmember Thorne questioned and confirmed that funds set aside for the total project <br />was $2.8 million and that the need for any additional funding will be reviewed as part of the <br />CIP in doing a final cost estimate prior to going out to bid. Mayor Hosterman also noted <br />staff had to ensure an environmental permit had been obtained and during that time period <br />there have been changes to the seismic standards for bridges and the actual structure. <br />The work would make those changes, bring it up to code, and have the same firm review it <br />to ensure it is built to today's Code. <br />11. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a Reimbursement Agreements <br />between the City and Ponderosa Homes for a storm drain line that serves the Ironwood <br />Development and authorized an appropriation in the amount of $50,000 from the Strom <br />Drain Capital Improvement Fund to pay the City's share of the storm drain line <br />reimbursement to Ponderosa Homes <br />Motion: It was m/s by Thorne/Cook-Kallio to approve Consent Calendar Items. <br />Ayes: Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br />12. Public Comment <br />Julie Lewis, addressed the City Council, said Amazing Voyage will be presented on March 29, <br />2008, recognized Jerry Thorne for his support of the program in its third year, said they have <br />received grants from the Tri-Valley Community Foundation and commended all of the young <br />talent in the community. <br />City Council Minutes 2 March 18, 2008 <br />
