Planning Commission
Resolution No. PC-87-87a
July 22, 1987
6. Adequate Public Safety Measures -- The public
street, as conditioned, would meet all City
standards. The construction of the cul-de-sac and
other improvements to St. John Street should
provide for safe and adequate circulation.
7. Conformity to the PUD Purposes -- The project
conforms to the PUD purposes in that it develops a
deep and relatively large parcel in the central
core area with minimal disruption to the
surrounding properties. The PUD process in this
case would allow development of housing units
utilizing a site plan which more efficiently
distributes building orientation sensitive to the
existing streetscape than if standard
multiple-family zoning district regulations were
utilized.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Recommends approval of Case PUD-87-20, application of
B-W Construciton Company and First Interstate Bank for
devlopment plan approval to construct a 28-unit
residential townhouse complex to be locted on an
approximately 2.4 acre site loctad at 553 St. John
Street subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and made aprt of this case by reference.
Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
PLEASANTON ON THE 22ND DAY OF JULY 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:
AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Mahern, Michelotti, and
Chairman Lindsey
NOES: Commissioner Tarver
ABSENT: Commissioner Berger
ABSTAIN: None /~ ~_
ATTEST: ~~"~ ~/~
~ / r y Li dsey, Chai
~V Y
Brian W.
