PC-87-124 <br />11/24/87 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approves Case UP-87-50, application of John Torres, <br />for a conditional use permit to maintain a bird aviary <br />at an existing residence located at 5504 Corte Sierra <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the birds present on the site shall be solely <br />the property of the residents of the site, and that <br />no commercial raising of birds shall be permitted. <br />2. That Animal Services shall be allowed to inspect <br />the site at any time, unannounced. <br />3. That if the site is discovered by Animal Services <br />to be in an unhealthy condition the Planning <br />Director, after conferring with Animal Services, <br />may terminate this permit. <br />4. That no composting of animal manure be permitted on <br />the site. <br />5. That the site and aviary be maintained in a clean <br />and sanitary condition at all times. <br />6. That the applicant remove the existing <br />nonconforming aviary structure from the westerly <br />good neighbor fence within 7 days of this approval. <br />Failure to do so will result in revocation of this <br />approval. <br />7. That detailed plans on the new aviary structure be <br />submitted for review and approval of the Planning <br />Director prior to construction. <br />8. That the applicant complete any necessary repairs <br />to the good neighbor fence (westerly) as a result <br />of the removal of the nonconforming aviary <br />structure. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption. <br />- 2 - <br />
