r EXHIBIT A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT AREA The southeastern boundary of the survey area is located at tha intersection of Sonoma Drive and Junipero Drive in Pleasanton, California. The boundary continues northerly along Sonoma Drive, then westerly along Mission Drive to Sunol Boulevard. The boundary continues northerly along Sunol Boulevard to Bernal Aveunue, then easterly along Bernal Avenue to the eastern edge of the Pleasanton School property, then along the eastern edge of the school property - to Rb6ie Street, then westerly along the school property to First Street. The boundary then continues notheasterly along First Street to the Arroyo Del Valle, then follows the Rrroyo easterly to the eastern edge of Stanley Business Park, then proceeds northerly along Stanley Business Park to Stanley Boulevard, then westerly along Stanley Boulevard to the eastern intersection of the Southern Pacific and the Union Pacific railroad tracks. The boundary then praceeds northwesterly along the Southern Pacific tracks to Valley Avenue, then westerly along Valley Avenue to Kolln Street, then southerly along Kolln Street to the southwestern boundary of the Madden property, then easterly along the southern boundary of the Madden property, then southwesterly along the western edge of the Madden and Dunkley properties to Ray Street, then westerly along Ray Street to a point approximately 100 feet easterly of the intersection of Walnut ^rive and Ray Street, then northerly to Stanley Boulevard, then westerly along Stanley Boulevard to the eastern boundary of the Exxon Station property, then northerly to the Union Pacific tracks, then westerly along the Union Pacific tracks to St. John Street. The boundary then proceeds easterly along St. Sohn Street to Peters Street, then southerly along Peters Street to Old Bernal Avenue, then westerly along Old Bernal Rvenue to a point approximately 1200 feet west of the Union Pacific tracks, then due south to the Union Pacific tracks, then southwest to a point due west of Junipero Drive, then due east to the intersection of Junipero Drive and Sonoma Drive.
