110487 <br />1807r:NM <br />Exhibit "A" - Planning Commission Resolution Nc 87-126 <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION N0. <br />RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON SELECTING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br />DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT WITHIN THE <br />REDEVELOPMENT SURVEY AREA AND APPROVING A <br />PRELIMINARY PLAN FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT OF THE <br />PROJECT AREA <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No.~~4`;~adopted on November 3, <br />1987, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton designated <br />a redevelopment survey area and found that said area <br />required study to determine if a redevelopment project <br />within said area is feasible; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 33322 of the California Community <br />Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33000 <br />gt sea.) provides that the Planning Commission may select <br />one or more project areas comprised of all or part of a <br />redevelopment survey area and shall formulate a preliminary <br />plan for the redevelopment of each selected project area; <br />NOW,•THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission hereby selects and <br />designates as the project area for the Downtown <br />Redevelopment Project that area within the redevelopment <br />survey area described in the "Legal Description of the <br />Project Area Boundaries," attached hereto as Ezhibit A and <br />incorporated by reference herein, and shown on the "Map of <br />the Project Area," attached hereto as Eahibit B and <br />incorporated by reference herein. In the event that it is <br />necessary for clarification purposes to make minor, <br />technical changes to the boundaries described in Ezhibit A, <br />which changes do not add or subtract area, the Planning <br />Commission hereby finds and determines that any such minor, <br />technical change for clarification purposes does not <br />materially affect the boundaries selected and designated <br />hereby for the preparation of an official redevelopment <br />plan for the proposed project. <br />
