RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON SELECTING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT WITHIN THE REDEVELOPMENT SURVEY AREA AND APPROVING A PRELIMINARY PLAN FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT OF THE PROJECT AREA WHEREAS, by Resolution No.~~4`;~adopted on November 3, 1987, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton designated a redevelopment survey area and found that said area required study to determine if a redevelopment project within said area is feasible; and WHEREAS, Section 33322 of the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33000 gt sea.) provides that the Planning Commission may select one or more project areas comprised of all or part of a redevelopment survey area and shall formulate a preliminary plan for the redevelopment of each selected project area; NOW,•THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission hereby selects and designates as the project area for the Downtown Redevelopment Project that area within the redevelopment survey area described in the "Legal Description of the Project Area Boundaries," attached hereto as Ezhibit A and incorporated by reference herein, and shown on the "Map of the Project Area," attached hereto as Eahibit B and incorporated by reference herein. In the event that it is necessary for clarification purposes to make minor, technical changes to the boundaries described in Ezhibit A, which changes do not add or subtract area, the Planning Commission hereby finds and determines that any such minor, technical change for clarification purposes does not materially affect the boundaries selected and designated hereby for the preparation of an official redevelopment plan for the proposed project.
