Task 2-1.8 - FHWA Interchange Spacing Policy <br /> <br />In response to a new FHWA policy, the CONSULTANT prepared <br />information regarding traffic conditions with respect to <br />interchange spacing on 1-580 and 1-680. The work included <br />additional traffic analyses, special meetings, graphics, and <br />input for a report stating the City's position regarding the <br />policy. <br /> <br />Task 2.2 - PROJECT COMPLETION WORK <br /> <br />Task 2-2.1 - Interchange Spacing Traffic Analysis <br /> <br />At the CITY's request, the CONSULTANT is performing addi- <br />tional traffic analyses to respond to FHWA comments and <br />questions regarding expected operating conditions on 1-580 <br />and 1-680 if the proposed interchanges (or variations <br />thereof) are constructed. The CONSULTANT shall perform the <br />work with the same traffic model and analysis procedures <br />used for previous work on the project, and produce a brief <br />report documenting the study and its results. <br /> <br />Task 2-2.2 - Continuing Consulting Services <br /> <br />The CONSULTANT shall provide environmental planning and <br />engineering services to assist the CITY in obtaining formal <br />project approvals from FHWA and Caltrans. This work may <br />include additional environmental or engineering studies, <br />revisions to existing documents, meetings with Caltrans and <br />FHWA, attendance at public hearings, response to comments on <br />project documents, reproduction of new reports or graphics, <br />monitoring and/or review of work by others, and similar <br />services as may be requested by the CITY. The CONSULTANT <br />shall provide a written Task Order describing the activities, <br />schedule, fee, and products for each item of work requested <br />by the City.
