they have the right but again we have another chance at correcting a problem so <br />let's not blow it. <br />The Las Ventannas Apt.s should be looked at a little closer. There are a few <br />greenbelt areas that might be able to be turned into additional parking. <br />The third concern is traffic. The plans called for an egress coming onto Vineyard <br />at Adams Way. Being a intersection that handles school traffic and is a major <br />crossing point for kids going to school, it should not bare the brunt of anymore <br />traffic (see above, try making a left). The project will be just another way fro <br />cars to cut through from the apartments below. A pedestrian walk-way to <br />Vineyard from the project would be o.k. but not cars. The project manager <br />thought there was a four way stop sign at the subject, Adams and Vineyard when <br />we spoke at the project pre-view so I'm not confident he understands what <br />happens here on a day to day basis. <br />One more thing that I do not agree with that the project manager brought up was <br />his comment about the subject property being aneye-sore for the Las Ventannas <br />Apt. and neighbors. The subject is a well kept ranchette house with a couple <br />of rustic outbuildings. It is a peaceful setting to gaze upon much better than a <br />bunch of two story stucco buildings. <br />As I mentioned, improving the subject is understandable but not at the expense <br />of the long time neighbors. <br />Please let me know that you have had a chance to read this email and that my <br />comments will be taken under consideration. <br />Thank you for your time. <br />David Morris <br />
