and that this Project would contribute to the long term <br />cumulative demand for library facilities. The DEIR indicates <br />on page 73 that no mitigation measures are required.-. <br />2. Findings. <br />a. Based upon the above facts, and upon <br />the DEIR's conclusion that no mitigation measures are required, <br />this City Council finds that the Project and subsequent <br />development of the Project site will have no significant <br />adverse impact upon library facilities. <br />Q. Public Services And Utilities-Schools. <br />1. Facts. <br />The DEIR indicates at pages 73-74 that approval of the <br />Project would allow development which will increase enrollments <br />in Pleasanton's schools, contributing to the longterm need for <br />construction of additional schools. The DEIR notes that <br />Pleasanton schools are currently at capacity, and that the City <br />is currently implementing Assembly Bill 2926, which authorizes <br />school districts to impose school impact fees of $1.50 per <br />square foot of habitable residential space. <br />Apart from the imposition of any fees pursuant to <br />AB 2926, the DEIR notes that no mitigation measures are <br />included in the proposed Project, and recommends as an <br />additional mitigation measure that the school district's long <br />range forecasts be amended to reflect the increase in the <br />general plan holding capacity if a project alternative <br />requiring amendment of the general plan is approved. <br />32 <br />
