K. Public Services And Utilities-Solid Waste. <br />1. Facts. <br />The Project and subsequent development of the Project <br />site would generate additional solid waste, and solid waste <br />collection for the Project site would be provided by the City. <br />The EIR indicates on page 69 that the City's solid waste <br />transfer station is scheduled to be expanded to accommodate <br />four to five hundred tons per day of solid waste. The DEIR <br />also indicates at page 69 that the Project and subsequent <br />development of the Project site will generate additional solid <br />waste and contribute to a decreasing capacity of the City's <br />landfill, but that such additional waste and decreased capacity <br />would not create a significant adverse impact. <br />2. Findings. <br />a. This City Council finds that the <br />generation of additional solid waste and the decreasing <br />capacity of the City's landfill which could result from the <br />approval of the Project and subsequent development of the <br />Project site do not constitute a significant adverse impact <br />upon the environment, based upon the DEIR and its conclusion to <br />this effect. <br />L. Public Services And Utilities-Gas And Electricitv. <br />1. Facts. <br />The DEIR indicates at page 70 that approval of the <br />Project would allow development of the Project site and require <br />extension of gas and electric lines, requiring undergrounding <br />26 <br />
