Resolution No. PC-88-41 <br />5/ii/ss <br />Page 2 <br />public streets where Improvements are in place. <br />The park-and-ride lot is consistent with City <br />efforts to provide alternative transportation modes <br />for local workers and'to reduce traffic congestion <br />where possible. The location and operation of the <br />proposed use will not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety, or welfare or injurious to adjacent <br />properties, and that this finding can be made. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the applicably provisions of this chapter. <br />As conditioned, the proposed use will comply with <br />all provisions and requirements of the zoning <br />ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, the application proposes a similar use utilizing <br />existing facilities. Projects of this nature are <br />categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Safety Act. Therefore, no <br />environmental document accompanies this report. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approves Case UP-88-14, application of Hacienda <br />Business Park Owners Association for a conditional use <br />permit to operate a park-ahd-ride lot facility to be <br />located on a portion of an approximately 2.3 acre site <br />located at the southeast corner of the intersection of <br />Chabot Drive and Owens Drive subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. That the proposed use shall be operated as a <br />park-and-ride facility in substantial conformance <br />with the site plan on file with the Planning <br />Department. <br />2. That the facility grounds shall be maintained in a <br />neat and litter-free manner at all times. <br />3. That if signage is desired for the proposed use, a <br />separate application shall be submitted to the City <br />for review and approval. <br />That the 50-foot width public service easement <br />along Owens Drive across the frontage of the <br />project site shall be landscaped in conformance <br />with the adopted design guidelines and standards of <br />the Hacienda Business Park prior to the <br />commencement of the proposed use. <br />- 2 - <br />
