The location and operation of the <br />proposed use will not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety, or welfare or injurious to adjacent <br />properties, and this finding is made. <br />That the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />As conditioned, the proposed use will comply with <br />all provisions and requirements of the zoning <br />ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, the application proposes a similar use utilizing <br />existing facilities. Projects of this nature are <br />categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Safety Act. Therefore, no <br />environmental document accompanies this report. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approves Case UP-88-11, application of Pleasanton <br />Community Church for a conditional use permit to operate <br />a church within an existing office/industrial complex <br />located at 4455 Stoneridge Drive subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. That the proposed use shall substantially conform <br />to the description and plans on file with the <br />Planning Department, dated April 13, 1988, except <br />that the telephone number on the sign shall be <br />deleted. <br />2. That the proposed occasional Bible study sessions <br />are considered subsidiary to the overall church <br />activities and that if scheduled, regular class <br />sessions are proposed independent of normal church <br />functions, a separate application for City review <br />and approval be submitted. <br />3. That the proposed use shall conform to all <br />requirements of the Building and Fire Departments. <br />4. That if additional signage is desired for the use, <br />a separate application shall be submitted for City <br />review and approval. <br />- 2 - <br />
