FOR THE CITY'S TURNOUT NO. 6 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT IN THE VINEYARD CORRIDOR SPECIFIC PLAN AREA, CIP NO. 011023-T.O. SUMMARY Construction of the subject project is complete and is ready for acceptance. The project consisted of constructing improvements to an existing Zone 7/City of Pleasanton water turnout (metering station) to serve new development in the Vineyard Corridor Specific Plan (VCSP) area. This project was part of the overall water facilities identified in the VCSP. The Specific Plan provided for the construction of improvements to the Zone 7 turnout, a new water booster pump station, a new 1.4 million gallon buried concrete water storage tank, an access road, water pipeline and appurtenant infrastructure facilities. The water tank/water pipeline and access road construction is near completion and the new pump station should be completed within the next few months. RECOMMENDATION 1. Accept the improvements for this project. 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the subject project. 3. Authorize final payment to Gateway Pacific Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $4,171.96. 4. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $22,863.26 to Gateway Pacific Contractors, Inc. thirty days after recordation of the Notice of Completion. FINANCIAL STATEMENT This project is part of the City's water supply infrastructure planned and approved as part of the Vineyard Corridor Specific Plan area. It is expected that operation of this facility will add minimal costs to the City's annual water enterprise operating costs.
