Update Bicycle System Map. <br /> <br /> The Council agreed to delete the $15,000 for an update <br /> of the Bicycle System Map. <br /> <br /> It is proposed that $60,000 be transferred from the <br /> Capital Improvement Fund to fund the Foothill Road <br /> soundwall study. <br /> <br /> Park Projects <br /> <br /> The Council agreed to include in the 1987-88 Capital <br /> Improvement Program improvements to Sports Park Drive and <br /> Sports Park parking. The estimated cost of the improvements <br /> is $300,000. Proposed funding for the improvements are: <br /> <br /> 1. $245,000 - commitment from Prudential Insurance Company <br /> for sports and recreation facilities in Sports Park <br /> and/or North Pleasanton area. <br /> <br /> 2. $55,000 - park dedication fees. <br /> <br /> Recommendation <br /> <br /> It is recommended that the City Council adopt the 1987-88 through <br /> 1989-90 Three Year as proposed, with the following changes: <br /> <br /> 1. STREET PROJECTS <br /> <br /> a) 1987-88 - Add $75,000 for a soundwall study on <br /> Foothill Road between West Las Positas Boulevard <br /> and Stoneridge Drive. <br /> <br /> b) 1987-88 - Delete $15,000 for update of Bicycle <br /> System Map. <br /> <br /> 2. PARK PROJECTS <br /> <br /> a) 1987-88 - Increase revenues available for park <br /> projects to include $245,000 commitment from <br /> Prudential Insurance Company. <br /> <br /> b) 1987-88 - Add $300,000 for improvements to Sports <br /> Park Drive and parking. <br /> <br />IIJames R.
