The drawings and technical specifications shall be developed for competitive bidding of the construction work. Technical specifications will be provided in Engineer's standard CSI format. City will prepare boilerplate (front-end) specifications with assistance from Engineer on summary of work, constraints, and sequencing. Drawings will be prepared to Engineer's CAD standards. Anticipated drawings are detailed in the drawing list included as Exhibit C. The ENGINEER shall submit half-size copies of the 50 and 90 percent complete drawings and specifications for City review and comment. 50 and 90 percent complete review comments will be incorporated into the design. 100 percent (Not for Construction) half-size drawings and specifications shall be submitted for approval prior to the Final Submittal required as part of Task 6.2. Updated construction cost estimates shall be provided for 50 percent, 90 percent, and 100percent (Not for Construction) submittals. 6.2 Final Submittal: After receipt of final approval from the City, Engineer shall submit an original set of stamped and signed drawings (22"x34" Velum) and specifications. Additionally, Engineer shall submit CD of final drawings, specifications, estimate, and any project related calculations. Deliverables: 50 percent and 90 percent Submittal: Half size drawings and specifications (10 sets). Engineer's construction cost estimate (pdf format). 100 percent (Not for Construction) Submittal: Half size drawings and specifications (2 sets). Engineer's construction cost estimate (pdf format). Final Submittal: Stamped and signed 22" x 34" Velum drawings (one original set); Stamped and signed 8112" x 11"specifications (one original set); CD containing electronic drawings (AutoCad format), electronic specifications (Word format), construction estimate (pdf format), and any project related calculations (pdf). 7.0 Bid Period Services: 7.1 Bid Period Services: Engineer will support City during bidding efforts on an as requested basis. Anticipated services include attendance at the pre-bid meeting, attendance at one scheduled site visit, answering of technical questions from bidders, preparation of addenda, and assistance in review of bids and recommendation of award. It is assumed City will manage bid period efforts including advertisement, printing, and distribution of bidding documents, facilitating pre-bid meeting and site visits (including preparing agenda and meeting minutes), answering non-technical questions from bidders, and printing and distribution of addenda.
