17 <br />THE CITY OF <br />~~ -° °~~ N == "" CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />j~L£~S~4NTON® <br />February 5, 2008 <br />Planning and Community Development <br />TITLE: REVIEW, DISCUSS, AND PROVIDE DIRECTION TO STAFF <br />REGARDING THE FUTURE PUBLIC REVIEW PROCESS FOR THE <br />PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3950 STANLEY BOULEVARD AT THE <br />INTERSECTION OF VALLEY AVENUE, BERNAL AVENUE, AND <br />STANLEY BOULEVARD <br />APPLICANT: Regency Centers <br />PROPERTY OWNERS: Frank Auf der Maur and Konrad Rickenbach <br />GENERAL PLAN: Retail/Highway/Service Commercial, Business and Professional <br />Offices <br />ZONING: PUD-C (Planned Unit Development -Commercial) District <br />SUMMARY: <br />On December 4, 2007 the City Council held an informational meeting concerning <br />Regency Centers' proposal for a commercial center anchored by a Home Depot store. <br />This meeting followed an expanded public review process whereby staff held a series of <br />community workshops and obtained additional information concerning the proposal and <br />its impacts. The Council concluded the hearing by directing that the proposal be <br />returned to the Council for consideration of options and direction to staff for proceeding <br />with an application for use of the property. <br />
