^ Variation in sizes and architecture; Craftsman and another style to provide a more unique <br />look to each of the 4 units: <br />^ Concerned with backing out onto First Street <br />Commissioner O'Conner: <br />^ Would it be possible to move the stairs to get 2 parking spaces? <br />^ Provide tandem for some, maybe 2, but not all of them. Possibly vary the garage sizes: <br />alternate from 1-car to 2-car etc. <br />^ Variation in sizes and style would enhance the project's appearance. <br />^ A bonus room above the detached garage may be more acceptable than a second dwelling <br />unit since the parking is tight <br />^ Likes the idea of single-family verses duplex <br />The Commission was also open to moving the detached garage to the side of the existing house <br />to allow for more open space and/or parking. The Commissioner's also agreed with <br />Commissioner O'Conner in that a bonus room may be more acceptable since there is concern <br />with the amount of parking being provided. <br />Once staff receives the revised plans and necessary supporting materials, the project will be <br />scheduled for the next available Planning Commission meeting for a formal decision.
