THE CITY OF <br />~L~£~S~4NTON® <br />14 <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />February 5, 2008 <br />Public Works Department <br />TITLE: ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS PERFORMED BY DAN <br />ELECTRIC FOR THE AMADOR THEATRE LIGHTING UPGRADE <br />PROJECT <br />SUMMARY <br />Construction of the subject project is complete and ready for acceptance. The project <br />consisted of improvements providing for the replacement of marginal and aging <br />dimmers and electrical distribution system for theatrical lighting in the Amador Theatre. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />1. Accept the improvements for the subject project. <br />2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the subject project. <br />3. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $29,249.04 to Dan Electric, <br />thirty days after recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br />4. Authorize final payment to Dan Electric in the amount of $93,199.50 <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />This project will result in a decrease in long-term maintenance costs and repairs due to <br />the upgrading of the current marginal and aging dimmers and electrical distribution <br />system. <br />
