Acting Chairperson Blank suggested that the Traffic Engineer identify a standard set of issues to
be addressed. Ms. Decker noted that would be possible, and would bring that request to the
Traffic Engineer with the end result of having it become part of the City’s policy for projects.

AM/PM

Commissioner Pearce recalled Chairperson Fox’s question about the U.S. Gas station turning
into AM/PM and agreed that the paint on that building was peeling badly and looked terrible.

Ms. Decker stated that the question had been directed to Code Enforcement and that she would
look into the matter and provide further information at a future meeting.

RV’s

Commissioner O’Connor had watched a City Council several weeks prior and recalled that the
Mayor brought up the issue of RVs. He requested follow-up information regarding RV parking.

Acting Chairperson Blank suggested placing that issue on a future Planning calendar.

Ms. Decker noted that staff could address the status of that ordinance. She noted that there had
been a collaborative effort between Code Enforcement and the Planning Department to identify
the problem areas in town with respect to parking. She added that language distinctions between
RVs and fifth wheels were being addressed.

8. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION

a. Future Planning Calendar

Commissioner Narum noted that when PUD-81-28-05M returns to the Commission, she would
like to see background information about what existed before the wall was built.

Ms. Decker replied that a comprehensive package of prior approvals, easements,
correspondence, and background information would be presented. She added that the Planning
Director, Jerry Iserson, would be presenting the project.

In response to an inquiry by Commissioner O’Connor regarding if the adjacent property owner
had prescriptive rights over the Pereira property. Ms. Harryman did not believe the City would
opine on whether one private party had a prescriptive easement over the other.

b.Actions of the City Council

No discussion was held or action taken.

PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES, October 10, 2007 Page 20 of 21
