Pa~,e 3-8
Chairperson Fox inquired whether the demand exceeded the capacity for the Park-and-Ride
facility. Commissioner Pearce replied affirmatively.
Page 3-9
No changes.
Pa e
Commissioner Narum inquired what the phrase "with regional roadway congestion" in the third
sentence of the third paragraph meant. She suggested that the fact that the afternoon school release did
not coincide with the p.m. peak traffic time was more important.
• Change the wording as necessary.
Commissioner Olson believed that paragraph 3 should include a discussion of busing. Ms. Stern
noted that subject had been raised with the School District several times and that Mr. Tassano
worked with the District on that subject; the District did not anticipate that occurring in the
future. Mr. Tassano noted that busing for a specific school was addressed in the document and
EXCERPTS: PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES, October 24, 2007 Page 7 of 15
