JAN-il-08 10:i7AHl FR01~- T-645 P.003/003 F-98T REGISTRAR QF VOTERS CERTIb'ICATE TO PETITION I, Dave Macdonald, Registrar of Voters for the County of Alameda, State of California, hereby certify that: An Initiative Petition Entitled: "REFERENDUM PETITION- AGAYNST ORDINANCE NO. 19b1 ADOPTED B'Y THE PLEASANTON CYTY COUNCIL ON NOV. b, 2007 APPROVING TAE APpI,YCATION OF JAMES TONG, CHARTER PROPERTIES (OAK GROVE DEVELOPMENT) FOYt PUD PLAN APPYtQVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE pUD-33" was filed with the Pleasanton City Clerk within the statutory time limit and forwarded to this office for verification on becember 5, 2007; and The petition contained 5.263 unverified signatures; and Pursuant to California Llections Code section 921 S, in order to be sufficient, the petition must have been signed by 3 67_„2 qualified registered voters of the City of Pleasanton, that number being equal to ten percent of the total registered voters of the City at the last Report of Registration to the Secretary of State; and I have examined, or caused to be examined, signatures on the petition pursuant to California Elections Code sections 9211 and 9115; and Have determined that the petition contained 44 valid signatures of qualified registered voters in the City of Pleasanton based on the random sample examination set forth in section 9115 and the formula prescribed by the California Secretary of State; and That this number represents 11~ pf the total number of signatures needed to qualify the initiative; therefore The petitilon is found to be sufficient to require the City Council of the City of Pleasanton to take the appropriate actions specified in the California Elections Code.
