The following exemptions from the existing zoning district regazding the keeping of animals <br />shall be applied to the PUD-Agriculture District: <br />Accessory Buildings and Pena. Pre-existing accessory buildings and pens within the PUD- <br />Agriculture District are permitted to remain in existence, irrespective of guidelines regazding <br />minimum lot size, minimum~lot widths, minimum front and side yazd setbacks, and maximum <br />building height contained in Chapter 18.84, Site, Yard, Bulk, Usable Open Space, ~ and <br />Landscaping Regulation, Table 18.84.010, and Chapter 18.38, Agricultural District, of the <br />Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br />Any property within the PUD-Agriculture district that subdivides into two or more properties <br />must adhere to all provisions in the above-named sections with the exception of the minimum <br />pazcel size requirements. Minimum pazcel size requirements are set forth within this section. <br />Setbacks. This district shall be exempted from the following regulation contained in category <br />D Chapter 18.28.30, Permitted Uses, for pre-existing conditions only. The regulation is <br />as follows "Livestock and poultry raising for private, noncommercial use, and private kennels <br />and stables, provided that any buildings or enclosure in which animals or fowl, except <br />household pets, are contained shall be at least one hundred feet from any R, O, C, I-P or P <br />district." <br />New uses shall comply with the setback requirements of Chapter 18.28 with respect to <br />proximity to the residential and officeJcommercial districts. For the Specific Plan area, <br />however, the Sycamore Creek drainage channel and any roadway ROW shall count as part of <br />the setback requirement. <br />4. Business a_nd Home Occ ~nationa <br />Business and home occupations for this district shall be in compliance with the appropriate <br />conditional uses listed in Chapter 18.38, Agricultural District, of the Pleasanton Municipal <br />Code. Existing nonconforming businesses not listed below will be acceptable and may remain <br />under the current property owner, however, they may not be expanded. Nonconforming <br />businesses shall not be continued upon sale of that property. The following uses are allowable <br />as conditional uses under the existing Agricultural district, but will not be allowed in the <br />North Sycamore Specific Plan azea: <br />Airports and heliports; <br />Automobile and motorcycle racing stadiums and drag strips; <br />Cemeteries, crematories, and columbariums; <br />Drive-in theaters; <br />Fertilizer plants and yazds; <br />Garbage and refuse incineration; <br />Gas and oil wells; <br />Golf courses and golf driving ranges; <br />Hospitals, sanitariums, and nursing homes; <br />28 <br />
