THE CITY OF <br />L£~AS~4NTONo CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />January 15, 2008 <br />Public Works Department <br />TITLE: ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR TRACT 7385, <br />AVIGNON SOUTH (CENTEX HOMES) <br />SUMMARY <br />Tract 7385, Avignon South, is a 28 lot, single-family residential subdivision with two <br />vineyard estate lots located between the existing (Old) Vineyard Avenue and the <br />realigned Vineyard Avenue adjacent to Fire Station No. 5. This subdivision is located <br />within the Vineyard Avenue Corridor Specific Plan Area. The project is complete and is <br />ready for formal acceptance of public improvements by the City. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />1. Accept for normal maintenance the public improvements for Tract 7385, Avignon <br />South. <br />2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />There will be nominal costs associated with routine maintenance of water, sewer, storm <br />drain and roadway facilities when public improvements are accepted. <br />
