Park and Recreation Commission Recommendation <br /> <br />At their regular meeting of January 21, 1987 the Park and Recreation Commission adopted <br />Resolution 87-1 recommending: <br /> <br />1) Approval of the fees and charges schedule as submitted; <br /> <br />2) Authorization be given to staff to adjust fees and charges for services and <br /> facilities up to 20% of the submitted fees and charges without resubmitting the <br /> change to the City Council; <br /> <br />3) Authorization be given to provide new programs and classes at a fee based on the <br /> cost of service or established guidelines. Fees for such new programs or classes <br /> to be approved by the City Council within a one year period from initiation of <br /> the class or program; <br /> <br />4) Authorization be given for the Recreation Supervisors or Director to continue to <br /> enter into contractual agreements for program services. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br /> Staff recommends the City Council adopt a resolution: <br /> <br />1) Approving the fees and charges schedule as submitted; <br /> <br />2) Authorizing staff to adjust fees and charges for services and facilities for up to <br /> 20% of the approved fees and charges without resubmitting the change to the City <br /> Council; <br /> <br />3) Authorizing staff to provide new programs and classes at a fee based on the cost of <br /> service or established guidelines.
