PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORYIIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1579 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON APPROVING DESIGN REVIEW APPLICATION FOR <br />LIVERMORE-AMADOR VALLEY WATER MANAGEMENT AGENCY (LAVWMA), <br />FILED UNDER Z-77-150. <br />WHEREAS, LAVWMA filed an application for design review approval for <br />an export pump station and regulating reservoirs proposed <br />to be constructed south of the Commerce Circle industrial <br />development and approximately 700 ft. east of Johnson <br />Industrial Drive, a junction structure proposed to be <br />located just north of the future Stoneridge Drive approxi- <br />mately 750 ft. east of the Alamo Canal and a pumping <br />facility to be constructed on the site of the VCSD <br />Sewage Treatment Plant; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the properties is A (Agricultural) and P <br />(Public and Institutional) Districts; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing on this application was held before the <br />'- Planning Commission on November 9, 1977, when all pertinent <br />testimony, reports, maps and documents were reviewed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission approves Z-77-150, subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown on the <br />location map, site plans, elevations, and landscape <br />plan, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning Department, <br />except that more diverse landscaping be established <br />adjacent to the export pump station control building <br />and pump bank; that the entire perimeter of the <br />export pump station and regulating reservoirs site <br />be landscaped with fast growing trees; that landscaping <br />be established around the junction structure and new <br />VCSD pumping facility and that final landscape plans <br />for these facilities be submitted to the Design Review <br />Board for approval prior to the advent of construction <br />on the site. <br />2. That approval of this case is conditioned upon the approval <br />of cases UP-77-16 and UP-77-20 and any conditions which <br />may be attached thereto by the Planning Commission. <br />3. That all mechanical equipment be constructed in such <br />a manner that noise emanating from it will not be <br />perceptible at or beyond the property plane of the <br />subject property in a normal environment for that <br />zoning district, <br />
