PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF PLEASANTON
COUNTY OF ALAMEDA
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION N0. 1580
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
PLEASANTON APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS FILED UNDER
UP-77-16 AND UP-77-20, BY LIVERMORE-AMADOR VALLEY WATER
MANAGEMENT AGENCY.
WHEREAS, conditional use permits to allow the construction and oper-
tion of an export pump station and regulating reservoirs
on a 15-acre site located south of the Commerce Circle in-
dustrial development and approximately 700 ft. east of
Johnson Industrial Drive, a junction structure just north
of the future Stoneridge Drive approximately 750 ft. east of
the Alamo Canal and a pumping facility on the site of the
VCSD Sewage Treatment Plant were submitted to the Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, zoning for the properties is A (Agricultural) and P (Public
and Institutional) District; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing to review these applications was held on
November 9, 1977, at which time, the Planning Commission
reviewed all pertinent documents, maps, staff reports and
testimony; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following findings:
A. That because of the isolation of the site, both con-
ditional uses are in accord with the objectives of
this chapter and the purposes of the district of which
the site is located.
B. That the proposed location of both conditional uses and
the conditions under which they would be operated or
maintained will not be detrimental to the public health,
safety or welfare or be materially injurious to the
property or improvements in the vicinity.
C. That both proposed conditional uses will comply with
each of the applicable provisions of this chapter.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-77-16 and UP-77-20,
subject to the following conditions.
1. That development be substantially as shown in the lo-
cation map, site plan, elevations and landscape plan,
Exhibit A, on file with the Planning Department.
-1-
