®RA~~" <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITX OF PLEASANTON 11/3/77 <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />ORDINANCE N0. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 14 (PLANNED UNIT DE- <br />VELOPMENT DISTRICT), CHAPTER 2 (-ZONING), TITLE II <br />(ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT). BY ADDING TO SECTION 2-8,37 <br />(PROCEDURE), SUBSECTION (e) RELATING TO NON-CONTIGUOUS <br />PARCELS <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Section 2-8.37 (Procedures) of Article 14 (Planned Unit <br />Development District), Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II (Zoning <br />and Development) is amended by adding subsection (e) to read <br />as follows: <br />(e) An applicant shall file a separate application for each <br />non-contiguous parcel upon which consideration of PUD <br />zoning and/or a development plan is desired. <br />For purposes of this subsection, parcels shall be deemed <br />to be non-contiguous if they are separated by roads, <br />streets, utility easements or railroad rights-of-way, <br />which, in the opinion of the Director of Planning, are <br />of such a width as to: <br />(1) destroy the unity of the proposed <br />project or the ability of the par- <br />cel to be developed as a cohesive <br />unit; or <br />(2) otherwise create the impression <br />that two separate parcels or pro- <br />jects are being developed. <br />Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days <br />after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br />Section 3. This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) <br />days after its adoption in "THE TIMES," a newspaper of gen- <br />eral circulation, published in the City of Pleasanton. <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br />City of Pleasanton on <br />1977. <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />
