PLANNING COMMISSION
City of Pleasanton
RESOLUTION NO. 1413
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CON-
DITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR OAK TREE CENTER.
WHEREAS, a conditional use permit has been applied for by
ris Beratlis to allow the construction and use of a parking
on a site located west of the rear of residences on Longspur
Way, south of the Pleasanton Canal and north of Valley Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the zoning for the site is P (Public and Institu-
tional) District; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing on this application has been held
on May 12, 1976, and the Planning Commission has received pert
documents, maps and testimony.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
TON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission makes the following
findings:
1. That the use of the site as a parking lot, subject to
the installation of dense landscaping the applicant
is required to provide, will not adversely impact
neighboring homes.
2. That the utilization of the bulk of the P zone as a
parking lot would allow the remaining portion of P
zone to develop a building no larger than 4,000 sq.
ft., thus reducing further impacts upon the adjacent
residential properties.
Section 2. The Planning Commission approves UP-76-12 sub-
ject to the following conditions:
1. That the development be substantially as shown on the
site plan, elevations and landscape plan, Exhibit A,
on file with the Planning Department.
2. That approval of this case is conditioned upon approval
of Case Z-76-74 by the Design Review Board.
3. That any damage to street improvements now existing or
done during construction on the subject site, be re-
paired at full expense to the developer.
4. That the developer dedicate the additional right-of-way
required along the Hopyard Road frontage of the subject
property of the City (approximately 24 ft. x 275 ft.).
