PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1435 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON MAKING FINDINGS REGARDING THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR THE PROPOSED REZONING OF APPROXIMATELY 62 ACRES OF LAND OWNED BY ANTHONY MORICI AND VALLEY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AND RECOMMENDING ITS FINDINGS TO THE CITY COUNCIL, THE REVIEWING BODY FOR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORTS. WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report has been prepared for RZ-74-12, the application of Anthony Morici and Valley Memorial Hospital to rezone approximately 62 acres of land located between West Las Positas Boulevard, the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks, the Tassajara Canal and Santa Rita Road from PUD (Planned Unit Development), allowing Industrial Park and Commercial Service uses, to P (Public and Institutional) District, RM-2500 (Multiple Residential with a maximum density of one dwelling unit per 2,500 square feet of lot area) Dis- trict, O (Office) District; and WHEREAS, the EIR was distributed in final form to the Planning Commission on June 18, 1976; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on Auqust 11, 1976. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds: 1. That the EIR meets the requirements of CEQA. 2. That there will be significant adverse impacts associated with the project, including impacts of increased air pollution, traffic congestion, incremental effects on water quality, and down- stream flood control; and 3. That the boundaries of the areas affected by these significant effects are those delineated on Page II-23 of Volume II, "Boundaries of the Area Which May Be Significantly Affected."
