PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1440 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING THE REQUEST <br />OF VALLECITOS SKILLS CENTER, INC., FOR A <br />VOCATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER AT <br />157 MAIN STREET. <br />WHEREAS, Vallecitos Skills Center, Inc., has applied for a <br />conditional use permit to operate a vocational/educa- <br />tional training center at 157 Main Street; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for thy property is P (Public and Institutional) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing on <br />this application and has reviewed pertinent maps, <br />drawings and documents and has made the following <br />findings; <br />A. That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />is in accord with the objectives and purposes <br />of the P (Public and Institutional) District. <br />B. That the location of the conditional use and the <br />conditions under which it would be operated or <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety or welfare, or materially injurious <br />to the properties or improvements in the vicinity, <br />as the maximum number of students to be taught <br />on the site at any one time would be limited by <br />the City's on-site parking requirements. <br />C. That this location, being in the proximity of the <br />Central Commercial District, would be best suited <br />to the office-type skills laboratory required <br />by Condition 1 below, and thus would comply with <br />each of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />
