PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF PLEASANTON
COUNTY OF ALAMEDA
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION NO. 1489
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL
USE PERMIT FOR A SALES OFFICE AND MODEL HOME
COMPLEX FOR GREAT AMERICAN HOMES.
Great American Homes has applied for a conditional
use permit for a model home complex to be located at
3783, 3765, 3747 and 3711 Pimlico Drive and to allow
a trailer to be located at 3783 Pimlico Drive to be
used as a temporary construction and sales office; and
zoning for the properties is R-1-6500 (Single Family)
District; and
, the Planning Commission held a hearing on February 9,
1977, at which time pertinent maps, documents, reports
and testimony were received, and they made the following
findings:
A. That the proposed location of the conditional use
is in accord with the objectives of this chapter
and the purposes of the district in which the site
is located because the location of the model homes
and sales office is in close proximity to the pro-
posed development and to major thoroughfares which
would provide easy access to the site.
B. That the proposed location of the conditional use
and the conditions under which it would be operated
or maintained not be detrimental to the public health,
safety or welfare, or materially injurious to pro-
perties or improvements in the vicinity, since the
complex would maintain a continuity of housing
types in the area.
C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with
each of the applicable provisions of Chapter 2,
Title II of the Ordinance Code.
, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
