6. That wooden shakes be used on the mansard roof of the building rather than composition shingles. 7. That parking spaces at an angle of 90° to the western property line be established along the full length of that property line exclusive of setbacks. 8. That 6 inch high concrete curbs be con- structed wherever landscaped areas abut drive- ways or parking areas and that 2 in. x 4 in. redwood headers be constructed wherever else landscaped areas abut pavement areas. 9. That all street numbers be posted so as to be easily read from the street at all times, day and night. 10. That all ducts, meters, air conditioning equipment and other mechanical equipment, whether on the roof, on the structure, or on the ground, be effectively screened from view with materials architecturally compatible with the main structure. 11. That all mechanical equipment be con- structed in such a manner that noise emanating from it will not be perceptible at or beyond the property line of the subject property in a normal environment. 12. That all lighting be constructed in such a manner that glare is directed away from surrounding properties and rights-of-way. 13. That all trash and refuse be contained within enclosed areas which are architecturally compatible with the main structure. 14. That if signing is desired, the applicant submit an overall comprehensive signing program for the entire building to be considered under separate application.
