CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-06 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PREANNEXATION AGREEMENT WITH ELLA <br /> STANHOPE AND SANITARY SEWER CONNECTION FOR 3573 VINEYARD <br /> AVENUE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ella Stanhope has indicated her desire to connect to the <br /> City's sanitary sewer system and the County Health <br /> Agency confirms health and safety hazards due to the <br /> failure of her private sewage disposal system; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 6, 1987, the City Council <br /> received a report from the Director of Public Works and <br /> Utilities (SR 87:07) regarding the proposed <br /> preannexation agreement; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Authorizes the connection of 3573 Vineyard Avenue to <br /> the City sewer system, provided the connection work is <br /> done to the satisfaction of the City Engineer and all <br /> costs are borne by the property owner. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The property owner shall sign a Sanitary Sewer <br /> Facility and Preannexation Agreement for future <br /> annexation, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> Section 3: Authorizes the Mayor to execute the above-described <br /> agreement. <br /> <br /> Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 6, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None ~E/~TH~R.~ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: J~ .- <br /> KE MERCER, MAYOR <br /> <br />j <br />~. ~alker, ~ity Clerk <br /> By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
