The landscape architect shall visit the site <br /> at the request of the client. These <br /> services will be billed on our standard <br /> hourly rates, see attached billing rates. <br /> We ~ould anticipate a minimum of five (5) <br /> site visits during the construction at <br /> critical junctures of the project. The <br /> times we feel are crucial are: 1) to check <br /> finish grading, 2) check hardscape <br /> finishes/play equipment placement, 3) <br /> planting placement, 4) final inspection, 5) <br /> final punch list inspection. <br /> <br /> 2. The Landscape Architect shall not have control or <br /> charge of and shall not be responsible for <br /> construction means, methods, techniques, <br /> sequences or procedures, or for safety <br /> precautions and programs in connection with the <br /> work, for the acts or omissions of the <br /> Contractor, Sub-contractors or any other persons <br /> performing any of the work, or for the failure of <br /> any of them to carry out the work in accordance <br /> with the contract documents. <br /> <br /> 3. Review shop drawings, samples and other <br /> submittals required of the Contractor. <br /> <br />II. COMPENSATION <br /> <br /> A. For the above professional services, the Landscape <br /> Architect shall be paid a lump sum of $ 20,900. <br /> <br /> All reimbursables which include postage, messengers, <br /> zerox, phone calls, transportation, and reproduction <br /> of report are included in the base fee. <br /> <br />III. OPTIONAL SERVICE <br /> <br /> It is anticipated that an electrical consultant may be <br /> needed if any lighting will be provided for the park for a <br /> fee of $2,000. If the corten steel bridge is used to span <br /> the creek, the services of a structural engineer should be <br /> used to size the footings for a fee of $900. <br /> <br /> <br />
