FT. <br />SHOPPING CENTER INCLUDING A HOME DEPOT, LONGS DRUGS, AND <br />MISCELLANEOUS RETAIL STORES LOCATED AT 3950 STANLEY <br />BOULEVARD AT THE INTERSECTION OF VALLEY AVENUE, BERNAL <br />AVENUE, AND STANLEY BOULEVARD <br />PROPERTY OWNERS: Frank Auf der Maur and Konrad Rickenbach <br />GENERAL PLAN: Retail/Highway/Service Commercial, Business and Professional <br />Offices <br />ZONING: PUD-C (Planned Unit Development -Commercial) District <br />SUMMARY: On May 15, 2007, the City Council held a public hearing on the proposed <br />Home Depot shopping center and voted to adopt the Negative <br />Declaration, to approve the conditional use permit and design review <br />applications, and to introduce the ordinance approving the PUD Major <br />Modification. At the following meeting, when the ordinance was <br />scheduled for its second reading, staff recommended a continuance to <br />allow for an expanded public review process since some members of the <br />community felt that certain issues had not been fully aired. As a result, <br />staff held community workshops in an attempt to discuss these issues. <br />With completion of that phase of the process, staff is returning to the <br />Council to present the information and provide responses to the <br />questions raised. <br />21 <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />
