THE CITY OF <br />-•• # ~~~ ° ° -~ '-"'- CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />~L~~S~4NTONo <br />December 04, 2007 <br />Public Works Department <br />TITLE: ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS PERFORMED BY SRP <br />COMPANY FOR REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING FENCE ALONG THE <br />SOUTH SIDE OF STONERIDGE DRIVE, EAST OF VAL VISTA PARK, CIP <br />NO. 058018 <br />SUMMARY <br />Construction of the subject project is complete and ready for acceptance. The work <br />consisted of the removal and disposal of the existing ferYCe and associated footings, the <br />installation of temporary fencing, irrigation system, landscaping removal and restoration <br />where necessary, and the installation of 947 linear feet of new wood fencing along the <br />south side of Stoneridge Drive, east of Val Vista Park. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />1. Accept the improvements for the subject project. <br />2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the subject project. <br />3. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $13,003.80 to SRP <br />Company thirty days after recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br />4. Authorize final payment to SRP Company in the amount of $630.80. <br />5. Authorize transfer of surplus project funds in the amount of $99,564.67 to the <br />Miscellaneous CIP Fund (Fund 151). <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />Funding for this project was provided for in fiscal year 2005-06. This project will result <br />in a surplus in the amount of $99,564.67, which staff recommends be transferred back <br />into the Miscellaneous CIP Fund (151). <br />
