THE CITY OF <br />i ~..-i~w t it ~i:in~~~ ttt <br />L~~S~NTON® <br />Invitation to Bid on <br />"As Needed Services" <br />For the City of Pleasanton <br />Bid No. OSC-07-O1-UT <br />Introduction <br />ATTACHMENT 2 <br />The City of Pleasanton is located in Alameda County, approximately 35 miles southeast <br />of San Francisco and sited at the intersection of Interstate 580 and Interstate 680. Total <br />area within the City boundary is approximately 22 square miles. City population exceeds <br />66,190. Pleasanton's water system has 277 miles of water mains with 20,519 service <br />connections. The sewer system has 231 miles of sewer mains; the City also has over 100 <br />buildings, and 191 miles of roads. <br />The City of Pleasanton is aligning its "As Needed Services" contracts with the Fiscal <br />Year and is requesting experienced licensed contractors to perform routine and <br />emergency as needed services, for a twelve month period with a not to exceed maximum <br />of $100,000 per fiscal year (July 1 sc thru June 30t"), in the following areas: <br />Utilities and Streets weed Abatement**, including the annual fire prevention <br />program administered by Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department. <br />**parcel maps are included in this packet <br />GENERAL CONTRACT PROVISIONS <br />• Contractor must provide and maintain in full force for the duration of the contract <br />General Liability and Bodily Injury Insurance, Automobile Insurance, Worker's <br />Compensation Insurance and Certificates of Insurance according to attached <br />Contract. <br />• Compensation for services rendered will be on a time and material basis based <br />upon Contractor provided rate schedule, which shall include profit, overhead and <br />overtime rates. <br />• For each job, Contractor shall provide a written quote, based on the bid hourly <br />rates. <br />
