areas will also be assessed and documented including the location, number of <br />traffic and parking lanes, adjacent sidewalks, potential internaUexternal queuing <br />and circulation patterns. <br />Subtask 5.4 Bicycle Conditions -PBS&J will provide a description of all bicycle <br />facilities currently serving or planned near the project site and its vicinity, including <br />bicycle routes, bicycle parking, transit access and other types of ancillary provisions <br />(e.g. shower facilities and employee lockers). PBS&J will also provide a <br />description of general bicycle circulation conditions as they relate to the project <br />site, including any safety, right-of-way and conflict issues. In addition, Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code requirements for bicycle parking and related facilities will be <br />identified and compared to the proposed supply. <br />Subtask 5.5 Truck/Freight Conditions -PBS&J will provide a description of <br />local truck freight circulation and access within and in the immediate vicinity of <br />the project site (including truck activity along El Charro Road). PBS&J will <br />review existing truck/freight analyses based on the DKS study prepared for the El <br />Charro Final EIR (April 2007) and document any potential truck freight <br />circulation issues in the study area <br />Subtask 5.6 Construction Conditions -PBS&J will evaluate potential short-term <br />construction impacts that would be generated by the proposed Staples Ranch <br />Project. A construction impact evaluation will address the staging, proposed <br />construction truck routes, and duration of construction activity (information to be <br />provided by Project Sponsor). <br />Subtask 5.7 Safety Analysis -PBS&J will provide a description of safety and <br />access concerns related to each of the subtasks topics described above. PBS&J <br />will qualitatively describe any potential safety or access concerns associated with <br />the proposed project. <br />Subtask 5.8 Trip Generation Summary -PBS&J will prepare a summary <br />describing the trips generated by the proposed project, including the average daily <br />trips from the project. Note it is anticipated that PBS&J will be provided <br />information from Dowling or City Staff to be included in the ADEIR. <br />Task 6 General Traffic Policy Section -PBS&J will provide a policy consistency <br />analysis for the proposed project as it relates to Pleasanton's General Plan. This <br />subsection in the DEIR will include: 1) differences in use between the proposed project <br />and the 1989 Specific Plan, 2) roadway facility changes described in the General Plan, <br />and 3) other policies which would apply to the proposed project. <br />Task 7 Response to City Comments on ADEIR -PBS&J will need time to respond to <br />any potential comments the City may have on the ADEIR traffic section regarding <br />parking, transit, pedestrian, bicycle, and truck components. This task assumes up to two <br />draft revisions based on comments from the City and County. <br />Task 8 Production -Additional time will be needed to perform word processing and <br />quality controUquality assurance (QA/QC) for the above tasks into the traffic section. <br />This task also includes any graphics for parking, transit, pedestrian, bicycle, passenger <br />loading, truck/freight and construction conditions. <br />
