Exception #2: Sprinklers may be omitted from small closets where the least dimension does not exceed 3 feet. Exception #3: Sprinklers may be omitted from attics and crawl spaces which are not used or intended for living purposes or storage in buildings with no more than four (4) dwelling units, except pilot sprinklers are required as per section 4-2.6 (above).
