Existing dwelling units shall be retrofitted with a spark arrestor upon the occurrence <br />of any of the following events: <br />I. Upon notice from the City; <br />II. Re-roofing: <br />III. Resale of the dwelling unit: <br />IV. Issuance of a building permit for alterations, repairs or additions in excess of $1,000. <br />2. In the event of a resale of a dwelling unit, the seller shall be responsible to comply <br />with this ordinance.
