III. Consultant - Work Generally <br /> <br /> The City of Pleasanton seeks a study of its aquatic center <br /> complex to determine the following: <br /> <br /> 1. The feasibility of and the mechanical modifications <br /> necessary to economically and efficiently operate the <br /> pool complex on a year round basis. <br /> <br /> 2. The feasibility of and the mechanical modifications <br /> necessary to operate each pool independently. <br /> <br /> 3. The feasibility of and the modifications necessary to <br /> automate the pool mechanical system. <br /> <br /> 4. The need for and method of making certain structural <br /> modifications to the pool complex. <br /> <br />IV. Specific Consultant Tasks <br /> <br /> 1. Inspect and recommend modifications necessary to <br /> completely automate the pools. <br /> <br /> 2. Inspect the condition of each pool shell; determine if <br /> and when each shell should be repaired and by what <br /> means; prepare a cost estimate for the alternative <br /> repair selected. <br /> <br /> 3. Inspect decking; determine repairs necessary; recommend <br /> preferred method of repair; prepare cost estimate. <br /> <br /> NOTE: All consultantts recommendations must comply with <br /> the Health and Safety Code of the State of <br /> California. <br /> <br />V. Contents of Consultant Proposals <br /> Proposals submitted must include the following: <br /> <br /> 1. Identification and description of the <br /> qualifications of staff member(s) assigned to <br /> project. <br /> <br /> 2. Brief description of similar projects recently <br /> completed. <br /> <br /> 3. Description of specific tasks consultant will <br /> perform. <br /> <br /> - 2 - <br /> <br /> <br />
