contract, all of which said documents are incorporated herein by <br />this reference as if fully set forth; provided, however, that the <br />requirements with respect to performance and materialmen's bonds <br />provided for in the specifications are hereby waived. <br /> <br /> 3. Contractor shall keep an accurate accounting of the cost <br />of abatement in front of or on each separate parcel of property <br />where work is done by him, and shall, upon completion of said <br />weed abatement work, submit to the City Council an itemized <br />written report showing such cost. <br /> <br /> 4. City shall no less frequently than at two week intervals <br />throughout the term herein, inspect the work done by Contractor <br />herein and upon recommendation of the Fire Department pay to <br />Contractor an amount of money consistent with the work done <br />during the preceding two weeks at the rate provided for in the <br />Weed Abatement Program bid sheet. <br /> <br /> 5. City shall, upon completion of weed abatement and <br />confirmation of cost thereof and upon recommendation of the Fire <br />Prevention Officer of acceptance of the work by the City, pay to <br />Contractor that amount of money which remains after compliance <br />with the provisions of Paragraph 4 hereof. <br /> <br /> 6. Contractor agrees to indemnify and to save and hold <br />harmless from and defend the City, members of the City Council <br />and their agents, servants and employees, against any and all <br />claims, costs, demands, causes of action, suits, losses, expenses <br />or other detriment or liability arising from or out of acts or <br /> <br /> - 2 - <br /> <br /> <br />
