It shall be possible for the <br /> operator to set the allowable phases as well as the phase green <br /> sequences from the master. <br /> <br /> Start up sequence, as programmed on the program module, as well as <br /> Min Red, shall not be modified by the master in any way. Functions <br /> which may be altered by the addition or deletion of the function <br /> are: <br /> <br /> DUAL ENTRY <br /> GUAP~ANTEED PASSAGE TIME <br /> SIMULTANEOUS GAP OUT <br /> MAX EXTENSION <br /> RED REST RING 1 <br /> RED REST RING 2 <br /> CONDITIONAL SERVICE <br /> <br />Dynamic Flow Interconnect <br /> <br /> Dynamic flow interconnect shall operate as follows: When a platoon <br />consisting of a predetermined nu~er of vehicles or greater is detected, <br />information regarding its calculated arrivel time at the next downstream <br />intersection shall be used to adjust splil~, force-off, and phase-omit <br />functions to provide sync-phase green ~t~_en the platoon arrives at the <br />intersection. The process shall be repeated at each intersection <br />included in the group assigned to the "flow" mode. <br /> <br /> If there is a pedestrian demand on' any phase, the system will <br />inhibit the application of the force off on that phase until immediately <br />after the end of the normal pedestrian clearance time. <br /> <br /> The intent of the operation described herein is to hold the sync <br />preferential phase green or to cause it to go to green at the first <br />opportunity following start-up of the approaching platoon and time-out <br />of any pedestrian phases which were already being served. <br /> <br /> <br />
