EXHIBIT B CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL PCUP-197, Walter Friedrich, Pump It Up 530 Boulder Court September 26, 2007 The location and operation of the proposed use shall conform substantially to Exhibit A (site plan, floor plan, and written narrative), dated "Received, July 9, 2007," on file with the Planning Department, except as modified by the following conditions of approval. Minor changes to the approved operation and schedule may be approved by the Planning Director if found to be in substantial compliance with the proposal. 2. The operation of the activity center shall generally adhere to the following schedule: Monday through Sunday: 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. The facility shall not be open to the public on a drop-in basis. All events shall be scheduled by advanced reservations. There may be up to two events totaling 50 children at any one time. However, there shall be a 15-minute break between the end of one event and the beginning of the next event on weekdays before 5:00 p.m. in order to avoid parking and circulation problems. Set-up and clean- up will be allowed before and after the hours noted. If operation of this use results in conflicts pertaining to parking, interior noise, traffic/circulation, or other factors, at the discretion of the Planning Director, this conditional use permit may be submitted to the Planning Commission for its subsequent review at a public hearing. If necessary, the Planning Commission may modify or add conditions of approval to mitigate such impacts or may revoke the said conditional use permit approval. Possible mitigation measures may include, but are not limited to, modifying the hours of operation, prohibiting amplified music, or other measures deemed necessary by the Planning Commission. Amusement devices/games in the front lobby area shall be offered for use only to parents and/or children attending one of the facility's "inflatables events" and not to the general public not attending one of these reserved events. The operator shall be required to comply with and post the standards for amusement devices listed in Chapter 6.04 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code. 5. There shall be no outdoor storage. 6. The applicant shall maintain the area surrounding the tenant space in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
